In the season of 1999-02, Kobe got his three-peat time. As Phil became the coach of the Lakers, Kobe’s future had changed. During several years, he turned out to be the best scorer in the league. He often appeared in the best team in NBA and All-Star game. Under the leader of Kobe and O’Neal, The Lakers became the most good team. The trainer utilized his triangle offense technique to assist the Lakers stand in the top class. This triangle offense aided the Bulls to win the six champions. The championship titles of 2000, 2001 and 2002 are the best proof of this matter.
Before 1999-00 season, he hurt his hand so that he had to stay in the bench for six weeks. After coming back to the game, his averaging time can surpass thirty-eight minutes. He got a enormous improvement both in the skills and speed. Due to Kobe and O’Neil coming back to the team, the Lakers got their fifth winners of the regular game. O’Neil obtained the title of MVP in that season. He also entered the best defensive team. He is the youngest player who got this title. Although he played as the second role in the playoffs, he still had a wonderful appearance including 25 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists. Because of the alley collaboration, the Lakers won the western conference finals series. In the final game, he broke his feet. So he missed the rest of the game and the third game. In game 4, Kobe scored 22 points in the second half and he helped the Lakers get the victory of the match. He hit the winning shot to make the Lakers got the championship. With the winning of the sixth games, the Lakers received their first NBA championship.
In the next season, he had the same performance as the past year. But in this year, there is a disagreement between him and O’Neil. Although they just got 56 times winners, but in the playoff they played with a 15 victories and a negative. They beat all the other teams except the 76ers. However at last, they brought their second winner award to Los Angeles. In the next game, he obtained amount of time to show in the game. And his averaging record increased to 29.4 points and 7.3 rebounds. After the game, O’Neil regarded Kobe as the best basketball athlete in the league. In the end, Kobe entered the All NBA Second Team and All NBA defensive team for the second year. Besides, he got the third chances to become the member of the NBA starter team.
In the next season, his appearance reached 80 games in the basketball career. He began his all-developed performance by 25.2 points and 5.5 rebounds. This time, he got the chance to step into the NBA first class. They stretched to 7 matches. It is the first time for them to play so many games. Finally, the Lakers got the third opportunities to enter the final competition. At the age of 23; he was the youngest basketball athlete to win three champions. His performance in the fourth games was praised.
