As the capital and largest city in Spain, Madrid is also known as a tourist destination. There is too much glory in its history, especially during the Spanish gold time. The achievement it has gained during the period of Renaissance has left us a cultural and historic treasure.

Built on the river Manzanares in the central point of the Spanish continent, it enjoys a Mediterranean climate with continental influences. In summer, the city is damn hot and even the local residents do not want to stay and spend the whole summer in some beaches in south Spain. In winter, it is cold. Therefore, the best time to visit Madrid could be spring and autumn when the weather is comfortable and pleasant. However, if you can stand up with the heat; come to visit in summer is not that bad as there is no other tourist there.
